Connected Voice is a charity and the principal voluntary and community sector infrastructure organisation for Newcastle and Gateshead. Connected Voice Advocacy is a service delivered by the charity and provides a free, independent, high quality and ethical advocacy service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Connected Voice Advocacy for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to provide support to the Connected Voice Senior Administrator and the senior management team and in the day to day running of the service.
Permanent subject to funding. (Full time – can be negotiated to 30hrs)
£ 33,486 – 35,336 per annum pro rata, depending on experience (NJC Pt 29 – 31), plus 3% pension contribution

We require an experienced female Counselling Co-ordinator to manage and lead our Sexual Violence Counselling Service. You must be an experienced counsellor, ideally with previous management experience. We welcome applications from roles in a range of relevant sector and service specialisms
The post holder will work as the Counselling Operations Manager for Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN), a ‘by and for’ women’s independent specialist violence charity and company limited by guarantee. The post is open to both counselling and non-counselling professionals alike.
The post holder will hold responsibility for the line management of our highly skilled counselling team, ensuring counsellors feel fully supported and empowered to undertake their roles.
Funded for 8/9 months depending on start date including:
• Range of Full time & Part Time positions for Tyneside – Newcastle central (and 1 day/week in South Tyneside)
• 18.5 hr post – Northumberland bases
Full Time Equivalent £27,741.00 gross

EDNE and Newcastle University have worked closely for several years, with our specialist counsellors working within the Student Wellbeing Service to deliver up to 16 sessions of counselling and psychotherapy to students at Newcastle University.

Role purpose
Northumberland Cricket Board, in partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board wish to appoint a Cricket Cities Development Officer to support diverse communities within recreational cricket, focusing on the populations in Newcastle upon Tyne with the highest ethnic diversity.
The delivery programme will focus around existing partnerships with local clubs, schools and community groups as well as developing new opportunities across the recreational game.
