There's hundreds of listings for Things to Do, Ways to Help (volunteering) and Help and Support. You can also discover some of the many clubs, groups and organisations in Gateshead, and even add your own event listings.
For groups and organisations, OurGateshead is the perfect platform to share what support you offer, upcoming events and volunteering opportunities. It's free to create an account and add a listing. Just click 'create new account'. There's even a list of rooms to hire, if you're planning a meeting or event.
Add your volunteer opportunities to OurGateshead
On OurGateshead.org, volunteering opportunities are listed under ‘Ways to Help’. You can add your volunteering opportunity (‘Request for Help’) by logging in or creating a new account on the OurGateshead website (it’s free to sign up). There are two ways you can add a ‘Request for Help’:
- Click ‘Add content’ and select ‘Request for Help’ – complete the form and your request will be listed under ‘Ways to Help’
- When you add an event or activity under Things to Do, you can also ‘Request Help’ for this listing. To do this click ‘Add Content’ and select ‘Things to Do’. When you complete the form you will notice there is a box where you can ‘Request Help’. Again this request will be listed under the ‘Ways to Help’ section of OurGateshead.org.
