About the workshop

This Volunteering Newcastle workshop is being offered for free to VCSE organisations as part of the Volunteering and Social Action programme.

This online session, delivered via Zoom, is for you if you are new to the role of fundraising in your organisation, or have been doing this for a while but want to develop a strategy to improve your chances of success.

Do you struggle writing successful funding bids? This session will be delivered online via Zoom, and take you through the key practical steps in describing the essential elements of your project, to tell funders what they need to know.

This in person session will take place in the Ground Floor Multi-function Room, One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4BX. 

Our cultural competency training is funded by Newcastle Public Health team and informed by the experiences of people from local communities through the Haref Network. It is free for health and wellbeing practitioners delivering services in Newcastle upon Tyne only,&nbsp

This online training will be delivered by by Nathan Rowland, Digital Adoption Specialist at Sunderland Software City, via Teams and it is open to all VCSE organisations working in Gate

Ideal for staff and volunteers, this online session delivered via Zoom will give you an overview of the key issues about safeguarding for both adults and children that every community organisation, charity or social enterprise needs to know.
