Your Voice Counts has been delivering advocacy services in Gateshead since 1991 and we’re looking for Senior Advocates to help us to support and develop our team as we expand our service in the area. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality, independent service that does vital work enabling vulnerable people to speak up for what they want and need, and ensuring their rights and entitlements are upheld.

As Senior Community Connector, you will manage a team of Community Connectors across Gateshead and South Tyneside providing ongoing support and supervision. You and your team will support people with learning disabilities and autistic people to identify and work towards outcomes they want to achieve, and to identify and address barriers to participation.

You will lead YVC’s team of Health and Wellbeing Facilitators and work closely with colleagues from South Tyneside’s Physical Health Hub, and Primary Care Mental Health Team to support people in South Tyneside, in particular those with learning disabilities and those who require support with their mental health, to meet their wellbeing and physical health needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed woman to join our team as a Service Manager, 30 – 35 hours per week.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you will support our overall service delivery and provide line management to our team.

The Key is a charity committed to inspiring young people to believe in themselves, especially those facing challenging circumstances. Studios Administrator and Buildings Manager

36 Lime Street is a registered charity (No. 1200138). We provide secure, affordable studio spaces for creative artists and seek to increase wider participation in the arts. In doing so, we contribute towards the regeneration of the building and our local area.

We are seeking to employ a Studios Manager/Administrator to work closely with our Board of Trustees our studio member and the members working groups.

James’ Place is a therapy centre for men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis and it was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. It offers men a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.

Connected Voice is looking for a new member of our Support and Development service team. This is a rewarding role managing the Support and Development team. This team makes a positive difference to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Newcastle and Gateshead. They do this through providing a combination of free and paid for services including training, networking events, and advice, support, and information for voluntary and community organisations.

Connected Voice is looking for a new member of our Support and Development team.
