Support and Development Coordinator

Connected Voice is looking for a new member of our Support and Development service team. This is a rewarding role managing the Support and Development team. This team makes a positive difference to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Newcastle and Gateshead. They do this through providing a combination of free and paid for services including training, networking events, and advice, support, and information for voluntary and community organisations. The team is also responsible for the OurGateshead community website.

We are looking for a people person with the ability to motivate individuals and foster good working relationships within a team. You will be able to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well-organised, with good leadership-management skills. You will be able to manage work flow and the balance between free and paid for services. You will have a sound understanding of the needs of the VCSE sector in Newcastle and Gateshead. Your attitude, enthusiasm and work ethic are as important to us as prior experience.

This is a great opportunity for you to manage a team that supports and develops VCSE organisations to build their capabilities, as well as professionally develop your skills, knowledge and experience.
