Who are we?
Established in the middle of the pandemic in autumn 2020, The Recruitment Junction is a Christian charity, operating as the first recruitment agency in the north east to place people with criminal convictions into paid work. Our vision is to push back on regional unemployment, as we see ex-offenders rediscover a sense of purpose through work, becoming role models who will drive positive generational impact across their families.

For over 30 years, the Angelou Centre has stood with Black and racialised women and children. We are a Black-led organisation based in Newcastle, specialising in support for those at risk of or affected by domestic abuse and other forms of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

We provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services that help women, children and young people recover from violence, abuse and discrimination - rebuilding safety, confidence and independence.

The Regional Fundraiser will be responsible for securing income from individuals, businesses in the region, and groups fundraising in the community to effectively build relationships and maximise income in the North East for Tom’s Trust, supporting the service based at The Great North Children’s Hospital. The role will cover North East England including but not limited to Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Tees Valley and Durham.

We are seeking a Sector Engagement Officer to work 30 hours per week to support the Represent Women partnership.

You will work with colleagues to support and enhance Represent Women activity across the North East.

What we need from you:

We are a well established charity serving disabled people and their families in North East England, based in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne. We are recruiting a Senior Administrator to oversee a small administration and reception team, ensuring efficient operation of administrative and front of house functions.
