Riverside works to improve the health and well-being of disadvantaged communities within the west end of Newcastle through using a community development approach to ensure appropriate service provision, and to tackle issues that affect the health of the community in the broadest sense.

ReCoCo is the Recovery College Collective. An independent Charity that works in collaboration with the NHS and other statutory organisations to provide effective, evidenced based, educational approaches to people in recovery from trauma and disadvantage.
We need someone to help us coordinate our events and training opportunities. Someone who can build and nurture mutually reciprocal relationships with multiple statutory and VCS organisations.

We're looking for an experienced and committed trainer to design, deliver, and manage our training programmes for care staff, artists and the wider creative ageing and dementia-friendly sector.

This role can be employed or self-employed and a hybrid role with 3 days minimum with a combination of office and home based working.

The Role – Tyne Mining Legacy Project Manager
You will join an exciting partnership of organisations (Tyne Rivers Trust, Environment Agency, Coal Authority and catchment partners) delivering meaningful practical work to improve the water quality of hundreds of miles of river with major environmental, social and economic benefits.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager. Working with the Coal Authority through the DEFRA-funded Water and Abandoned Metal Mines (WAMM) programme, you will work closely with a diverse array of partners and stakeholders to deliver a programme of innovative works that improve water quality and balance competing stakeholder needs.

VCN provides a wide range of support, around all things volunteering, to over 950 charities, organisations, and groups across Newcastle. We also support hundreds of members of the public each year, who are interested in volunteering and need some support to get started.
