Our tailored training sessions are perfect if your organisation:

Wants to deliver training across an entire organisation or team
Requires bespoke or in depth training that goes beyond the learning outcomes of our free sessions
Is looking for training that is tailored to demonstrate best practice in your specific area of work
Wants to increase staff and volunteer engagement with the training and create a safe space in which to ask questions
Falls outside of the eligibility requirements for attending a free multi-agency training session

Tailored Training

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: putting it into practice

This training enables participants to understand the meaning and purpose of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and make practical changes in your organisation to achieve better delivery of services.

This tailored training package is for organisations of all shapes and sizes, delivering a wide range of projects and services.

Trustee Roles and Responsibilities Training

This training will support your leadership to understand the roles and responsibilities of a Board of Trustees, as well as its legal structure and the basics of good charity governance. This will help ensure your charity’s work is responsible, effective, and legal.

Introduction to Safeguarding

This session covers the key issues around safeguarding adults and children that charities, community organisations and social enterprises need to know about.

Social Justice Champions: Supporting people, helping them to be heard and protecting their rights

This tailored training course will give you an increased understanding of neurological conditions and will help you develop skills and knowledge to be able to provide holistic, person-centred support to people with neurological conditions to get their voices heard and their rights upheld.

This course explores the benefits of good communication and active listening, and will give attendees an enhanced understanding of the importance of this for individuals accessing their services and skills to become more effective communicators in their roles.

Free Training

We offer a regular programme of free training for local organisations to help them run effectively. These are typically for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations serving Newcastle and Gateshead but eligibility does vary between sessions so be sure to check before booking.

Most of our training is delivered online over Zoom. Sessions include a mix of presentations, group activities and discussion. We encourage active participation and sessions are not recorded.
