Individuals and organisations, including researchers, museums, schools, community groups, not-for-profit organisations, arts groups, and libraries, can apply for grants of up to £10,000 through the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Outreach Fund.
The fund supports chemistry-based events and activities for schools and public audiences, with a focus on helping chemists develop strong science communication skills.
Projects should encourage meaningful engagement with students and the wider public, helping build interest in chemistry through interactive, inspiring experiences. Priority is given to projects reaching underrepresented audiences, communities, and locations.
The next application deadline for both small and large grants is 2 October 2026.
