Music Growth Fund: Support New Music and Emerging Talent

Closing date

UK-based music organisations and businesses supporting new music and emerging talent can apply for grants of £1,000 to £100,000 for projects lasting up to three years. 

The funding is available to support artist and workforce development, grassroots venues and infrastructure, audience growth, new markets and opportunities for music businesses. 

There are two funding strands: grants of £1,000 to £40,000; and grants of £40,001 to £100,000. Eligible applicants include SMEs, sole traders, charities, CICs and partnerships. 

The £1,000 to £40,000 strand opens on 6 August 2026 and closes on 3 September 2026; and the £40,001 to £100,000 strand opens on 7 September 2026 and closes on 1 October 2026. The funding is provided by Arts Council England through the Music Growth Fund.
