Metal for Good: Grants for Community Music Projects

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to charities, community groups and other not-for-profit organisations delivering music-related projects that make a positive difference for communities in England and Wales. 

The funding is provided by Metal for Good, which supports projects that use music and the values of the rock and metal community to advance three goals for an equal society.  These are: 

• Good Health and Well-Being 
• Quality Education 
• Reduced Inequalities 

Up to six projects will be awarded funding, broken down by: 

• 1 x £3000 
• 2 x £2000 
• 3 X £1000 

Priority will be given to grassroots community groups and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations. 

Metal for Good has introduced a short expression of interest (EOI) form, which will be open until 5pm on 7 September 2026
