Gateshead Council: Pride in Place
Closing date
The Beacon Lough and Wrekenton Neighbourhood Board is investing £85,000 of the Pride in Place 2026-27 allocation under the following Pride in Place objectives:
Build stronger communities - improving cohesion, belonging and resilience.
To achieve the following interventions:
- measures to improve community cohesion
- support for community-based learning and development
- interventions to tackle anti-social behaviour, crime and minimise reoffending
The funding will put decision-making power in the hands of local people, offers the flexibility to respond to local needs and opportunities and provides long term funding so communities can put plans together to help rebuild and transform their neighbourhoods.
