Football Foundation: Grass Pitch Drainage Grants

Grants are available from the Football Foundation to help improve grass pitch drainage through capital works recommended in a PitchPower Assessment Report, where routine maintenance is not sufficient. The grants fund projects like installing piped drainage systems designed by qualified consultants.

Grants of up to £25,000 are available. For projects requiring more than £25,000 or exceeding 75% of the total cost, applicants should contact their County FA or Football Foundation Delivery Manager to discuss the project in more detail.

Who Can Apply:

Not-for-profit football clubs, local authorities, County FAs, professional club community organisations, educational establishments providing community facilities, registered charities, not-for-profit companies, community interest companies, and companies limited by guarantee.
