Women Empowerment and Wellness Network CIC
Tell us about your organisation:
Women Empowerment and Wellness Network (WEWN) is a community-led organisation based in North East England, dedicated to empowering women from migrant and minoritised ethnic backgrounds. Our vision is a society where every woman has the opportunity, confidence, resources and support networks to thrive. We recognise that women's journeys are not always linear. Through culturally responsive support, professional development and community connections, we help women overcome barriers, improve wellbeing, achieve their aspirations and become leaders in their communities.
Who do you serve and how do they access services?:
We support women from migrant and minoritised ethnic communities, primarily across North East England. Women access our services through community referrals, partner organisations, networking events, workshops and online platforms. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive spaces where women feel understood, supported and empowered.
