Newcastle Council: Community Spaces Grant Scheme

Newcastle Council are preparing to launch a new Community Spaces Grant Scheme in summer 2026 a fund that will help refurbish, repair and improve community spaces and are now inviting Expressions of Interest from organisations that manage community spaces. This funding is part of The Government's Pride in Place Programme. 

📍 Who can apply?

Organisations running community spaces across Newcastle creating welcoming places for connection, support and shared activity for local people.

We particularly welcome projects located in the most disadvantaged areas of Newcastle.

Submit a short form now Pride in Place - Impact Fund - Expression of Interest   – Fill in form. We’ll:

✅ Keep you updated on the full application timeline

✅ Let you know early if your project isn’t the right fit

✅ Invite suitable projects to complete a full application in summer 2026 (4–6 week window)
