Newcastle ‘VCSE as Partners’ Forum: Funding and Commissioning focus
This event is run in partnership by Connected Voice and Newcastle City Council
You are invited to the second meeting of this new VCSE partnership forum with Newcastle City Council. Connected Voice and the Council plan these meetings together with the aim of expanding joint working opportunities and strengthening relationships between the Council and VCSE sector. At our first meeting in November, the topic of working with the Council on issues of funding and commissioning for the VCSE sector was identified as the top priority for the next meeting. We will be joined at the meeting by the Council Deputy Chief Executive, along with key members of the senior director team.
The meeting will provide a space to:
- Review the council’s VCSE expenditure over the past few years
- Share insights and experiences
- Identify where meaningful changes could be made in council spend
- Strengthen partnership working with Newcastle City Council
- Shape a clear set of actions for the year ahead
