Our first Strawberry Soup event of the year

We teamed up with our neighbours at Home Group to deliver a fantastic Strawberry Soup event on Thursday 28 March here at One Strawberry Lane. This was the first Strawberry Soup event of the year.

Strawberry Soup is a fun and unique networking event which brings together charitable organisations and businesses from across the North East to see charities pitch for funding. Attendees learn about the work of the charities and vote for their winner, each of which has a chance at taking away their share of a £2,000 prize pot.

The March event saw three VCSE organisations take to the stage, and it was great to see Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland take first prize. Congratulations also to the two other very deserving organisations, Here4Horses and NetWORK NotWORK CIC, who delivered excellent presentations.
