We offer a safe space for private consultations and offer a wide variety of signposting options within our vast integrated network. We also offer a variety of services including;
- Pharmacy 1st,

- Meningitis vaccinations for Hajj & Umrah,
- Blood pressure, BMI and cholesterol checks,
- Emergency hormonal contraception.
- New medicines services.
Tell us why being a Haref Ally is important for you and your organisation
Being a HAREF ally has opened up a vast array of networking opportunities within the north east all of which share the same vision of embracing equality and diversity. I have been able to integrate the learning from this networking back into my organisation.
Tell us about anything that you or your organisation has done to improve how you work with ethnically marginalised communities
I have been able to share vital information regarding translation/interpreter services with my Pharmacy and other Pharmacies within my PCN. We actively recruit our staff from within our community so our community is represented within our workforce. We have our own formulated approach for dealing with difficult situations, health inequalities and communication barriers which involves empathy, education and empowerment. We also believe in having ‘patience with our patients’.
