Funding: Developing a strategic approach

This session is for you if you are either new to the role of fundraising in your organisation, or want to develop a more strategic approach. This training is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.

Through a mix of interactive presentations and group activities participants will be able to:

• Identify a broader range of funding sources to create a diverse funding base
• Understand how planning ahead is crucial to success
• How best to fit fundraising into the other demands of your role
• Understand about meeting funders expectations in a funding bid
