Engagement and Involvement Officer

The role
Tell Us North has an exciting opportunity for an experienced engagement and involvement officer to support the delivery of Healthwatch services in Gateshead & Newcastle. The ideal candidate will understand health and social systems in Gateshead & Newcastle and should want to contribute to the development and improvement of services. You will design and deliver innovative engagement activities using a wide range of research methodologies and public engagement techniques to gather and amplify the voice of local people. You will analyse your findings and use the data to inform visualisations, reports and other products.

The Organisation
Tell Us North are an independent, not-for-profit organisation. Through the delivery of Healthwatch Gateshead and Healthwatch Newcastle we help people of all ages and from all backgrounds share their views about health and social care services in Gateshead and Newcastle upon Tyne. We work to ensure that the people who plan, commission, and run social care and health services are listening to their beneficiaries. When people’s voices can be heard, we can make positive change. Together, we can create services that cater to the needs of the communities they serve and reduce inequalities.
