British and Foreign School Society - Displacement Education Fund
BFSS has launched a new £1 million Displacement Education Fund to address the specific challenges that children and young people who have been displaced by conflict face in accessing quality education. This includes having a safe space to learn and a stable, trusted adult presence, being able to learn in their own language, and receiving the post-trauma support that they need in order to heal, thrive and learn.
The Displacement Education Fund will support projects working with displaced children and young people both internationally and in the UK.
It will award grants of up to £60,000 to registered charities, schools and educational establishments, and grants of up to £20,000 to other not-for-profit community organisations for projects that support displaced children and young people living in the UK. Grants of up to £60,000 are also available to registered charities for international projects.
