Senior Management Review
We have recently made some changes to our senior management team following a review.
As a result of this the Advocacy Director role was eliminated and we said a fond farewell to Jacqui Jobson, who had been with the organisation for 17 years. Under Jacqui’s leadership, the advocacy service went from a small part of the organisation to a much larger and fundamental part of what we do, gaining national recognition and playing an influential part in achieving the recognition and support that advocacy services have nationally today. Jacqui has always been at the forefront of fighting for social justice and she is a true advocate - always working to ensure people’s voices are heard, and their rights upheld. We will miss her.
We are delighted to confirm that Jane Kingston, from our advocacy team, has been appointed to the new role of Advocacy Manager, and we know she will provide excellent leadership for Connected Voice Advocacy into the future.
Giovanni Spatuzzi, from our Support and Development team, has been appointed as our Strategic Partnerships and Operations Manager, and will be taking on more of a leadership role within the organisation, building new partnerships and strengthening our representation work.
We are also delighted to confirm that Mark Shilcock has taken on the new role of Support and Development Coordinator, overseeing the work of the Support and Development team in helping local voluntary and community organisations.
