Gateshead Cares opens up membership to organisations

Gateshead Cares is a collaboration between health and care organisations that work together at Gateshead Place to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of local people, to tackle health inequality challenges and make the most of opportunities to join up care for the benefit of Gateshead communities.

It comprises commissioning and provider organisations, including representatives of the Council; NHS Newcastle Gateshead CCG; Acute, Community and Mental Health NHS Trusts; Primary Care; and representatives from the voluntary and community sector (Connected Voice and Blue Stone Collaborative).

Gateshead Cares has been formally established through an Alliance Agreement that key anchor organisations have signed up to. The partners of Gateshead Cares would welcome organisations who work with Gateshead residents and who share its values and aspirations to become affiliate members of Gateshead Cares. These values are rooted in the aspiration of making Gateshead a place where everyone thrives and more information can be found within the affiliate membership form. Organisations that become affiliate members may use the Gateshead Cares branding on its literature, website, emails and social media as appropriate.
