Community Engagement Tutors

Northern Learning Trust supports people and communities to build confidence, develop skills and move towards learning, employment and financial stability. We work alongside people who may face multiple barriers, using informal learning, mentoring and practical support to help them make positive changes in their lives.
We are looking for motivated and experienced Community Engagement Tutors to establish and deliver our Learning Hive provision in Ashington and Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our community-based learning offer, engage local people and partners, and provide high-quality support that helps learners progress.
You will be a qualified tutor with experience of engaging and supporting adults who face barriers to learning, employment or progression. You will be learner-centred, organised and confident in building relationships with community organisations, referral partners and learners.
