This is an exciting chance to use your skills, experience and passion to achieve impactful change for wildlife and people throughout the Tyne Catchment. An opportunity to join an enthusiastic, dynamic team, working with the local community and key partners at the sub-catchment scale.

Our current projects cover rural and urban challenges including; natural flood management, fisheries improvements, innovative changes to land management and awareness raising of what individuals can do. Working with all sectors of the community to educate and share best practice is key.

The main focus of the role will be to drive existing catchment projects forward whilst developing new long-term opportunities working with the Tyne Rivers Trust team and Tyne Catchment Partnership. Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of allocated existing projects
  • Development of new opportunities and solving barriers to progressing improvements at a sub-catchment scale
  • Ensure and encourage a strong working relationship with key catchment stakeholders
  • Deliver engagement activities to ensure all partners and stakeholders are fully informed and able to contribute positively
