Launch Event: LGBTQ+ VCSE Network Newcastle and Gateshead

-
Connected Voice Staff at our Pride Stall from last summer

Join us for the launch of our new ongoing LGBTQ+ VCSE Network for Newcastle and Gateshead.

This network is for Voluntary, Charitable and Social Enterprise organisations that are run by or run for LGBTQ+ people in Newcastle and/ or Gateshead.

We are pleased to bring you this network following the success of the networking event in February 2026 and the feedback requesting more chances to meet, collaborate and explore challenges together.

The network is facilitated by our staff at Connected Voice, but will be run by you. This launch event will give you the first chance to have a say about how the network will look, and we will discuss what we want to achieve through it.

The event will take place at 6-8pm on Thursday 26th November at One Strawberry Lane. Arrive at 5:45pm for registration and informal networking so we can start promptly at 6pm.

We have chosen to hold this event in the evening as we recognise that a high number of LGBTQ+ led organisations are run by volunteers. We hope that this timing encourages a more diverse attendance and promotes vibrant discussion.

If you have any questions about this event, please get in touch by emailing Josh - josh.foster@connectedvoice.org.uk

Address:

One Strawberry Lane
