NHS Integrated Care Board
The ICB for the North East and North Cumbria was created in 2022 to replace Clinical Commissioning Groups. The region's integrated care system brings together organisations from across the region including the NHS, councils, and the voluntary and community sector to combine resources, knowledge and skills to improve healthcare.
The ICB works to reduce health inequalities in the North East which have been exacerbated further by the cost of living crisis.
