The BAME Healthy Communities Surviving COVID-19 Fund is provided by Comic Relief and administered by the African Health Policy Network (AHPN), in partnership with House of Rainbow and the Africa Advocacy Foundation.
The aim of the Fund is to enable small and medium sized BAME-led organisations and the communities they support to build wellbeing, resilience, and capacity through a range of projects taking place during the pandemic/post-pandemic period.
Three levels of funding are available:
- Grants of up to £5,000 for organisations with an annual income of under £50,000.
- Grants of up to £10,000 for organisations with an annual income of between £50,000 and £150,000.
- Micro grants of between £500 and £1,000.
Grants are available for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) led voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations across the UK to help them support their communities during and beyond the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis, building wellbeing, resilience, and capacity.
