Gateshead and South Tyneside Sight Service has three exciting new roles to help us grow and provide essential support for people with sensory loss.

The jobs have been made possible by funding from the Government’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

We are looking for;
- An experienced and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Officer to advance our AI and Technology support whilst providing essential mobility and guiding support.

- A specialist sight loss Counsellor to provide one to one and group support for those living with sight loss.

- A motivated and creative Development Officer to establish new services, particularly combatting social isolation, supporting those living with sensory loss.

The roles are all for an initial six-month period, our intention is to extend these to permanent roles within the organisation. Secondments and consultancy arrangements will be considered.
