Are you looking for a Treasurer Trustee role to share your talent in finance?
Citizens Advice Gateshead is an independent local charity, and a member of the national Citizens Advice network. With a turnover approaching £4m, and a team of 170 staff and a growing volunteer community, we punch above our weight locally and nationally, mobilising knowledge through the delivery of tangible social value, in many different guises, to thousands of people every year.

Treasurer Trustee opportunity
As a strategic adviser on the Trustee Board with an oversight of our finances, as Treasurer you will be invested your talents in leading the continual improvement of our financial health, as we aim to be an enduring and dynamic charity that never stands still until we have a fair society for all, with lives well lived. You will be encouraged to input expertise, and also challenge, into trustee board discussions, decisions and plans, to ensure the charity applies its financial resources diligently in pursuit of its vision, while safeguarding the values and financial stability of the organisation.

If you're a finance professional who applies financial management principles to drive effective strategic decision making, you have an awareness and understanding of the implications and responsibilities of the role of a charity trustee and you're willing to contribute up to 15 hours a month to support a charity that's made great progress but is still ready and willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
