Connected Voice is looking for a proactive, dynamic and agile person to join our high performing Support and Development Team. The role will involve directly supporting and developing community groups, charities and social enterprises primarily based and operating in Gateshead. You will develop and enable partnerships between organisations based on common themes.
You will also support organisations with help around funding, governance, legal structures, policies and procedures, and organisational development. And support with the development and coordination of forums, networks and partnerships.
You will understand the community sector, particularly small to medium-sized organisations. This is a unique opportunity to help our local community sector become more resilient and sustainable for the future.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, you will be working both remotely and in the Newcastle city centre office. This will be until we feel it is safe to return fully to the office.
The post is for 30 hours a week and will cover maternity leave.
