OurGateshead and Connected Voice Membership Officer

Connected Voice is looking for a new member of our Support and Development Team. This is an exciting role that will involve making a positive difference by developing Gateshead’s community website: www.OurGateshead.org and growing Connected Voice membership.

OurGateshead aims to be a central point of information about community organisations working in Gateshead, helping to support the borough’s residents to find activities, services and volunteering opportunities in their local community, which benefit their health and wellbeing.

The role will firstly involve supporting community organisations to use OurGateshead to promote their activities, services and volunteering opportunities. Secondly, it will involve promoting Connected Voice’s membership offer to organisations across Newcastle and Gateshead. You will be the first point of contact for new members and administer membership details.

You will be a people person with the ability to build strong relationships. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, with good organisational skills. Your attitude, enthusiasm and work ethic are as important to us as experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to support organisations to reach residents and professionally develop your skills, knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will receive training in all aspects of the role.

Connected Voice is currently piloting hybrid working. A decision about whether or not to maintain hybrid working will be made in June 2022.

Salary £26,494 pro rata per annum for part time working
